Who are the Friends of Koko Head Elementary School? We all are! If you have a loved one attending, working, or graduated from Koko Head Elementary, you are a Friend of Koko Head Elementary!

As a non-profit organization, we support Koko Head's teachers, staff, and students by raising funds to finance our International Baccalaureate (IB) program, Physical Education, Social Emotional Learning, and Hawaiian Studies for our keiki. Additionally, we may fund technology and other supplemental items critical to our children's education.

Supporting the School

In the last few years, we have been able to donate desk guards to mitigate COVID-19, install two super-sized ceiling fans in the cafeteria, purchase chrome books for each student, install water purification systems, provide a playground structure, and much more. We are always interested in ways that we can promote a more positive learning environment for our children.

Friends Meetings

We meet once a month usually on the first Tuesday of each month from 8:05 a.m. - 9:05 a.m. Occasionally, scheduling conflicts may require a change in the meeting dates which would be communicated.

Our meetings are informal and used to provide updates and status on our ongoing fundraisers and events. We are always looking for more Friends and welcome suggestions from the community. So, please come with your ideas.
